How Project2000 saves more than half its energy in its industrial hall

At interior and stand, builder Project2000, one of the parties that we regularly work with, there is a lot of activity every day in the production hall in Utrecht. Bedrijfsverlichting.nl has helped them to make the lighting functional and sustainable.

Project 2000 BV has been around for twenty years and has grown into a specialist in six disciplines: interiors, stands, shop-in-shops, events, props, and furniture. These are all made to measure in a modern workshop of more than 2200 square meters. Sawing, carpentry, and building take place in this workshop. In short, a dynamic place where everything happens.

Because they work a lot of wood, they have to deal with dust and sawdust. To prevent this from having an effect on the lighting, a dust and watertight fixture from our manufacturer MacBright has been chosen. In addition, we have chosen a natural white (4000K) color temperature to create a pleasant working environment. The fixtures replace traditional 2x58W fixtures. This results in a saving of no less than 60 percent on energy costs.
